Shirley Watson, age 56, a resident of Berwick, La., and a native of Norfolk, VA., died Monday, Feb 24, 2014 at Thibodaux Regional Hospital at 12:30 PM. Visitations will be Monday, March 3, 2014 at New Zorah Baptist Church in Morgan City, La., from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Shirley leaves to cherish her memories; Eric Watson, Jr., Brian Watson and Blaze Watson all of Morgan City, La; a daughter, Mrs. Theophalis (Erica) Gaines of New Iberia, La; a sister, Sadie Sutton of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Erielle Gaines, Jayden Watson and Theophalis Gaines, Jr; and a host of relatives and friends.
