Tomeka Rednell Marks

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Morning Pilgrm Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Her uncle, Minister Lilton Marks, Sr. will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Morning Pilgrim Cemetery in Jeanerette, LA

Cherished and divine memories will forever be remembered by her parents; George and Betty C. Marks, Sr. of New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Wendell Marks (Jaylana) of Jeanerette, LA and George Marks, Jr. (Shalon) of Beaumont, TX; a god-brother, Carlos Lumpkin (Sandy) of Jeanerette, LA; five aunts, Mary Frank (Floyd) and Irene Nerve (Polite) both of Jeanerette, LA, Sheridon Lewis (Clarence) of Baytown, TX, Glenda Smith (Robert) of Beaumont, TX and Robbie Marks of Houston, TX; five uncles, Luther Charles (Shirley) of Jeanerette, LA, Sylvester Marks, Sr., of Houston, TX, Lilton Marks, Sr. (Carolyn) and Tommy Marks (Trudy) both of Smithfield, VA and Windell Marks of North Carolina; as well as several other relatives and friends.

Tomeka was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Leroy Charles, Sr., and Marjorie August Charles and Sylvester and Dorothy Marks; one uncle, Leroy Charles, Jr., and four aunts, Diane Charles, Hazel Penns, Barrama Arline and Donna Hardy.
