A public viewing will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road, Houma, LA, 70360 (Per CDC regulations/local requirements all visitors must wear face masks in building at all times). Burial will follow in Crozier Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Ramonte Emmanuel Martinez, Alijah Tony Granger and Cassidy Arthur Joseph Singleton; parents, Lois Ann Granger VanBuren (Kenneth, Sr.) and Zachary Scott; brothers, Kenneth, Jr. adn Shaquille O'neal VanBuren, Aaron Stevens, Sr. (Alexis), Shawn Calloway and Travion Smith; sisters, Shemeka VanBuren and Shedawn Scott; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Zachary Scott, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Vorris, Sr. and Louise Johnson Granger; paternal grandparents, Verlene VanBuren and Ivanola Ruffin Scott; uncles, Vorris Granger, Jr. and Albert Scott, Jr.; and aunt, Michelle VanBuren.
