Warb Pledger

A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at which time Masonic rites will be performed on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Residence Baptist Church, 2605 Isaac Street in Houma, LA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Oceola Calloway Pledger; sons, Irving Scoby (Erica), Brien K. Pledger (Cheryl) and Enoch Pledger, III. (Tonya); nineteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Samuel Pledger; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Wayne Pledger; parents, Enoch, II, and Winnie Kennedy Pledger; brother, David Pledger; sisters, Bernice and Saddie P. Marshall.

He was a retired Purchasing Agent with Zapata Hayne. Bro. Warb was a Sr. Deacon at his church and was very active in the community while serving on many boards and commissions including but not limited to the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Waterworks District Board for over 18 years; the Terrebonne Parish Lions Club (former President); TEA Federal Credit Union; 33rd Degree Mason (Blaine C. Clay Lodge No. 14 F & AM); and was one of only two Presidents of the Terrebonne Parish Men's Day Association in over 60 years.
