Wavernell Belcher

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 4928 North Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, LA 70356, with Rev. James Allen, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by: her husband: Walter Frank Belcher; three daughters, Dana McBride (Fabian), Delvikeo Picou, and Brandy Rideaux (Darryl); two stepdaughters, Lynne and Lia Belcher; six sisters, Eula B. Allen (James), Joan B. Clark (Frederick), Wilma B. Hawkins, Brenda B. Aubert, Carolyn B. McGill (Jerry), Janet B. Ruffin and Carmen Bolden; one brother, Charles Bellizana; two godchildren, Cory Ruffin and Jermone Wilson; one sister-in-law, Joyce Belizone; five brothers-in-law, William Belcher, H. Earl Belcher, Fredrick Belcher, Dr. H. B. Belcher and Dale Belcher; and three grandchildren, Dylan Walter Anderson, Kennedy Grace Picou and Mason Garcia Ramos.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jack, Sr. and Vellia Robinson Bellizana; one brother, Jack Belizone, Jr.; two sisters, Eloise B. Payne and Delores Cheavis; and two brothers-in-law, Chester Aubert and Rev. James Hawkins.
