Adelia L Lopez Flores

She was born on June 28, 1942 in Houston, Texas. She grew up with her caring mother and younger siblings in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Adelia was married to Augustin C Flores for more than 26 loving years. She is survived by her two daughters Samantha Thomas (Willie Thomas) and Leora Hernandez (Dave Hart), and her sister Irma Hinojosa (Antonio Hinojosa).

Adelia was a bus driver for the city and school district, a waitress, and, after many years of working in retail sales, she retired to become a homemaker and caretaker to her four grandchildren during her early years.

Adelia was preceded in death by her Grandmother Virginia Aguilar, her mother Encarnation Rodriguez, her father Bridigo Lopez, her aunts; Leonra Delgadillo and Beatrice Balderas, and her uncle Claro Aguilar.

She had four grandchildren: Ariel Hernandez, Levii Thomas, Lauren Thomas, Laureal Thomas, and two great grandchildren Castiel Conley Thomas and Aizlynn Mikesell.

She enjoyed traveling, watching action movies and spending any time with them. She loved and cared for her family and will be deeply missed by those closest to her.

Future Inurnment will take place Rose Hill Memorial Park 2731 Comanche Corpus Christi, TX 78408 at a later date.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038 at 6:00 p.m.
