Albert C. Berman

Albert (Al) Berman died on September 8, 2012 at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Angela Berman; four children, Al Berman and wife Debra, Mary McMann (Susie), Mike Berman, and Dan Berman and wife Amanda; and grandchildren, David, Douglas and wife Ashley , Matthew, Travis, Adam; step-grandchildren, Nick, Gina and Beth.

Al graduated from Northwestern University and the University of Houston. He successfully held several higher management positions with Mobile Oil and Union Texas Petroleum. He was also director of several associated corporations, joint ventures and industry associations. He retired at age 55 as a Senior Vice President of International Exploration and Production.

Over several years he was active in youth sports and education programs. He volunteered with several charities and the Katy Memorial Hospital.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren who added light, laughter and love in his later years.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Memorial Oaks Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested for the National Jewish Medical Research Center, 1400 Jackson Street, Denver, Colorado 80206. This Lung Center added several good quality years to Al’s Life.
