I will always remember you. I saw your Dr friend a psychologist on TV. I put Betsy Johnson readers by his bed. I know you want him to wear the polka dot ones and read more in details via false nurses you get jealous of patients over every little thing. Miss ya you will always have a special place in my ❤️. I have only been to see Dr. Maillard twice, but I will never forget him.   He thoroughly and simply explained what was happening to me with my ears.  I am now cured.
I haven't been in the U.S. for about eight years, and my wife now has my condition.  Today, I found out that Dr. Maillard had passed.  The medical community has experienced a great loss.

So sorry to hear about Al's passing. I had moved to Denver from Houston and was not in touch toward the end. We were the closest of friends and he even brought his son, David over to my house to swim when he was young. He still had that Red Mazda (with the roll up windows). Not much changed over the years. We eventually split up, but still remained friends.

I just learned of Dr. Maillard’s passing.    I am and was extremely sad and speechless.   My doctor, who told me, was concerned about my emotional response to the news.   I was brain dead for a few moments.  My heart fell to my feet.

Dr. Maillard was the only doctor of close to a dozen who could find an illness and severe pain I had experienced for over a year.   He also later repaired a Deviated Septum, Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, and Tonsillectomy, which I suffered for decades.

When my wife of 35 years, known to him during my treatments, died from drowning,   Dr. Maillard was very compassionate and took the time to console me when I lost it during my last two visits before his death.  He is a great loss to the medical community and me.

I know God took Dr. Maillard into his arms, and he will watch over us from heaven.

He was the best Dr l have ever had in my life him would always hold me confusion and he would tell me with a smiling face he was going to get me back like l was .Dr l will always miss you it made me cry when l found out you was gone but you be in my heart FOREVER.

I have been a patient of Dr. Maillard for about 15 years. I was in need of his expertise and googled his name for his office number and saw the office was closed permanently. I started to panic, and looking intently at other links related to his name, I then saw in memory of ….and lost my breath! Dr. Maillard was not only an outstanding physician, he was so kind and warm, like a very dear friend. I will miss his expert diagnosis and way of making the injections that hurt so bad physically feel better. I will miss your warm and genuine hugs! Much love to you Dr. Maillard and may you rest in peace my friend!

What a shock it was to call the office and learn that the good doctor has “taken down his shield”.  I have been in his care for over 10 years and will miss him sorely. Rest In Peace

There is no doubt that God has received Dr. Maillard into His Kingdom and into His arms. I will miss you so very much, Sir.  I will miss you stopping me in the halls to chat and gossip and laugh. You brought such joy into this world and I loved every minute in your presence. I am still in shock that I won't see you around or hear your laughter but I will think of you often. May you rest in peace knowing you did so much for all of us.

As a referring physician, I always knew Dr Maillard would always come through for the patient I was referring to him. He would always come to the phone to speak with me-not so with most doctors I call today.And like so many of the testimonials I have read about Alberto, he ask how I was doing and my family and my wife (Maria) who work with him in the ENT Clinic at UT Hermann during our training years.
For sure he rest in GLORIOUS arms of Our Lord above and within all of US.

What a true man you are. You lived your life to help others. You not only were my doctor but over the last 25 plus years became my dear friend. You were a sounding board for new ideas, for hard times in my life, advise for the kids, it just goes on and on. You took care of my whole family and always asked about them all. I'll miss your calls just to say hello, the random texts with funny jokes and messages especially holidays, which I know were hard for you. I hope you realize what a huge success you are. You are one of the last great physicians who knew the real meaning of healing. You were a friend to so many, a true friend.  You loved your family and were so proud of your kids. Not everyone may realize what this world lost with you leaving it but your voice is still heard and you are so very loved. God bless you and may you be happy from now on.

We became friends decades after school days, as we searched together for your classmates and friends from Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogota, Colombia. What excitement we both felt when we found someone. You had so many stories about those years and you shared them with me.  I always enjoyed hearing from you, at the end of your workday, when we would talk about the special times and the special people you knew from way back then.  I asked you to dance at the 2012 Dallas Reunion and this photo will always be special to me.



You may have been my cousin, but you were definitely my friend.
