Alfred V. Sanchez Jr., age 72, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He was born in Brownsville, Texas to his parents Alfred Sanchez Sr and Josephine Valdez Sanchez.
Alfred served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in January of 1973. He is survived by his loving wife Dora Gomez, daughter Sabrina Sanchez, sons Eugene Sanchez and Alfred Sanchez III. He is also survived by his stepdaughters Evelyn Romero, Sandra Gomez and stepson Nelson Gomez and his wife Ana. Alfred is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation for Alfred will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. Interment will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:15 am at Houston National Cemetery, 10140 Veteran's Memorial Dr. Houston, Texas 77038.
