Alfredo Enrique Raven

Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served two tours in Korea. He received a National Defense Service Medal and he was an expert rifleman. He was honorably discharged November 26, 1969. He had a passion for his family and was always sharing his wisdom.

Alfredo was dearly loved by his family and survived by fiancé Sonia and; sons Alfredo Jr. and wife Tonyia, Ricky and wife Misty and Juan Jose; daughters, Alicia (Sissy) and husband Greg, Grace, Ravenbelle and Alesmar and husband Jesus; grandchildren Levi and wife Carly, Raven, Morgan and husband Lee, Taylor, Cameron, Alec, Eddi, Anastyn, Gia, and Phoenix; sister Yamile and many friends and family.

Proceeded in death by his mother Alicia and Father Juan Jose; sister Isabel.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, 77038. A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 9:15 am at American Heritage Funeral Home with a committal service to follow at 10:30 am at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, Texas, 77038, where military honors will be rendered.

We will miss our Papi. He leaves us rich in memories and these words

Life is too short. You have to live it. Before you know it, you’ll be 60 in the blink of an eye. So enjoy it.
