She passed away in the morning of April 25, 2011. after being hospitalized for pneumonia on top of her years long lung problem.
In her early years Alice worked as an auditor for the local hospital boards in Scotland after attending the local High School.
She was married in 1956 and went with her Husband, Les to Bahrain, then Abadan, Tehran, Pakistan. Algiers, and Saudi Arabia.
She settled in Houston for the last 31 years.
She has two children, a daughter and a son with two grand children each.
She is survived by her Husband Les age 85.
Alice was a full member of Ashford United Methodist Church in Dairy Ashford.
She served many years in the “Jet Setters”, the Aldersgate class and as an usher.
She was known for her very friendly attitude despite being on oxygen for the last four years of her life.
Alice was also a very active Canasta player with several groups in the Cinco Ranch area of Katy.
