He lived in Dallas, Texas for 14 years and worked in the industrial flooring industry. He lived in Houston, Texas for 29 years. Dress hats were a part of his attire and he loved music, dancing, ironing, reading from the bible, yard work and watching classical movies. He was also a good dancer (swing out, also known as two stepping). His ironing skills were amazing and his yard was immaculate.
Allen is a brother, father, uncle and grandfather.
Allen was generous, loving and dedicated to his family. He was always there at the drop of a hat if you needed anything, that's just who he was - always thinking about others and always there, especially for his family.
Allen you finally have a chance to dance with our mother again. I am sure Mama has been waiting for the day for you to to say "Come on Mama" and then take her hand and get on the dance floor. I hope you dance.
Our lives will never be the same without you Allen. Your line may be disconnected, but our hearts will forever be connected.
Allen will be remembered and cherished by his brothers, sisters, sons, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Allen Ray Joseph Sr. will be celebrated by family and friends and his memory will live on always.
