

She attended Colihaut high school and went on to attend the Roseau Convent High School in Dominica. After graduation she traveled to Antigua for 2years. When she returned Dominica, she had two children, Gladwin and Ronal Langlais. She then met and married Patrick Moses of Delices, Dominica. Amie and Patrick then moved to St. Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands. They lived there for 20 years and had two children, Kerby and Shana Moses. She found work in St. Thomas with a wonderful lady named Mrs. Callwood, who later became the godmother of Kerby and Shana Moses.
In the 80’s Amie and Patrick Moses moved to Houston Texas with their 5 children: Gladwin, Ronnie, Patterson, Kerby and Shana. She attended and graduated from Debbie Howell cosmetology school in Houston. She then worked in nutrition services for Westbury Hospital. After leaving Westbury Hospital she began to work for the Houston Independent School District, where she retired in nutrition services after 30+ years. Amie became good friends with other ladies from Dominica and in 1996 they founded the Dominica Houston Association, which she was an active member until 2016.
Amie was preceded in death by her loving son Ronal Yarde Langlais. She was survived by her loving son Gladwin Bruno Langlais, who was her right hand and cared for her until her passing, Kerby Moses who helped her with all of her many home renovation and assisted her during her illness. Her stepson Ernest “Patterson” Moses and one and only loving daughter Shana Moses, who was her best friend and cared for her until her passing. Amie also had 4 loving grandchildren, Kerby Moses, Jr., Jalieah Moulton (2016 Miss Dominica – HCP 3rd runner -up), Gregory Moulton, Jr., and Cregory Moulton.
