On February 1, 1953, Amos married the love of his life, Mary Fishback. She has since gone to be with The Lord. He served his country proudly for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending his free time playing golf. Amos was a great example of what a husband, dad, and grandad should be.
I know he would want to give special thanks to Dr. Thai; and especially his long time nurse Leslie and The Vitas Hospice Group.
Amos is survived by his daughters, Kim Clark and husband Keith, Suzie Swan and husband Robin and Dedra Holland; his grandchildren, Larry Holland, Jr., Brandon Holland and wife Leslie, Jason Holland and wife Miriam, Robin Swan, Jr. and wife Sheanna, Brandon Swan and wife Christina, Chris Mays and wife Erica, Michelle Swan and Spencer Swan and wife Spenser; his great-grandchildren, Ricky, Tori, Taylor, Jaycee, Madison, Kyleigh, Shayla, Braxton, Cherish, Jaylynn, McKenna, Tina, Bella, Jason Dean and Garland, and numerous other loving relatives and friends. With the loss of a loved one, one is gained with the soon to be birth of Skyler.
Amos will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Brandon Holland, Jason Holland, Robin Swan, Jr., Brandon Swan, Spencer Swan and Chris Mays.
