Amparo Margaret Gaddy

She later met and married the love of her life James Gaddy in Houston, Texas. They married on July 25, 1961. Amparo had a career as a baker at Kroger and Henke & Pilot for 30 years. She was a dedicated member of the Church of the Nazarene and had a passion for jewelry and flea marketing.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James Gaddy; daughter, Rosemary Sansing; grandsons, Eric Sansing, and Michael Sansing.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joseph V. Garcia and wife Judy, David Garcia and wife Cynthia; sisters, Alice Luna and Connie Mata; multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Garcia III, James Garcia, Bert Arevalo, Joseph Ventura Garcia Jr., Shawn Garcia, and Jason Arnold.

A visitation for Amparo will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. A graveside service will occur Friday, June 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
