She was born on November 13, 1954, in San Pedro, Coahuila, to Cecilia Carmona and Juan Feliciano Juarez. From her earliest days, Andrea carried the strength, faith, and resilience that would later define her life and the legacy she leaves behind.
She is preceded in death by her father, her brother, and her sister, all of whom she loved deeply. Andrea is survived by her mother, Cecilia Carmona. She also leaves behind her children — Mariah Martinez, Maribel Juarez, Oscar Juarez, and Christian Juarez — each one carrying a piece of her strength, stubborn humor, and unmatched ability to tell you the truth whether you were ready for it or not.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Gabrielle Martinez, Peter Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Micah Sotuyo, Gavin Sotuyo, and Caleb Sotuyo; and her great-grandchildren: Isaiah Arevalo, Natalie Arevalo, Josiah Martinez, and Jiselle Martinez — all of whom she adored, bragged about endlessly, and spoiled without a hint of regret.
Andrea also leaves behind her loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friendships — relationships she nurtured with sincerity and the kind of loyalty that left no one doubting where they stood with her.
She is also survived by her overwhelming (and somehow still multiplying) collection of ceramic elephants — a stampede no one in the family has yet volunteered to sort, but one that will forever symbolize her humor, her joy, and her belief in good luck.
Andrea lived her life with a faith so steady it felt like its own kind of shelter. She was a praying woman — the kind who could cover you in protection with just a glance and make Heaven clock overtime with the number of people she lifted up daily. Her relationship with God was woven into everything she did, everything she overcame, and every blessing she passed forward.
Her personality was a beautiful blend of strength, courage, and that signature humor that could slice through tension like a hot knife. She was tough when life demanded it, tender when it mattered most, and unexpectedly hilarious when you least expected it. Andrea didn’t just speak her mind — she delivered it with perfect comedic timing, raising a family who learned very quickly that if you tried her, you were getting roasted with love.
Those who knew her best will remember her unstoppable work ethic, her fierce loyalty, her compassion, and her ability to make life lighter even in its heaviest moments. She was the backbone of her family, the storyteller, the protector, and the one everyone went to when life felt overwhelming — because somehow, she always knew how to guide you back to center.
Faith guided her. Humor carried her. Love defined her.
And even though her passing was sudden, the imprint she leaves — in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren will be carried forward by those who loved her, for generations.
