She was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas on the 23rd of January 1966. Andrea attended The University of Texas at Austin with a major in sports science. She then moved to Houston where she met and married the love of her life, Allen Walker. Together they started the successful A-1 Allstate Moving & Storage.
Andrea is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Walker Jr; her mother, Barbara Ann Riggins Rivers. She is survived by her loving daughters, Chelsea Alyse Walker and Kirby Adair Walker; her father, Gary Griffith, and half-sister, Jennifer Griffith; her Aunt Bonnie Jean Riggins Von Hollen and Uncle Dr. Quinton Riggins; her cousin Ryan Riggins; her sister-in-law Wendy Walker Hebert.
Andrea was an avid sports fan with her favorite teams being the Texas Longhorns, Oregon Ducks, Arkansas Razorbacks, and Florida Gators. Her passion for animals led her to reunite several displaced pets with their families, and she considered her dogs and parrots as part of her own family. She loved traveling to Cabo and Costa Rica with her two daughters, and spending time with them and friends at her favorite restaurants in Houston. She not only appreciated a myriad of musical genres, but her love of horticulture and the outdoors resulted in a beautiful landscaped yard, which captured the eyes of the neighbors.
