Andrew Cortez

Andrew was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was born May 10, 1989 to Jose Martin Cortez and Sandra Cortez.

Andrew is preceded in death by his Grandparents Lorenzo and Maria Teresa Cortez, and Ponciano and Consuelo Cortez, his father Jose Martin Cortez, brother Jose Martin Cortez Jr., and the mother of his first two children Monica G. Gallegos.

Andrew is survived by his three beloved children Andrew Xzavier Cortez(19) NyeAnna Rose Cortez(17) and Zoey Isabella Consuelo Cortez(4), his mother Sandra Cortez, his brothers Robert Cortez and Christopher Cortez (Amanda Cortez), sister Sandra Cortez Aguirre (Felipe Aguirre), nephews Damien Dre Aguirre, Daxton Lorenzo Aguirre, Amarcus Trigo and niece Ava Christine Cortez.

Andrew loved listening to music and spending time with his family. Especially his children. He loved concerts, and playing guitars. Growing up having played a bass he was versed in a few instruments. Many days were spent with the entire family together hanging out laughing enjoying simple pleasures of life through the company of each other. He enjoyed many great friendships and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He loved hard, fought hard and played hard. Andrew will forever be in the hearts of those who loved him and his presence will forever be missed.

A Visitation service will be held July 19 from 2-10 pm with a prayer service (English) at 4 pm. A rosary service (Spanish) at 6pm.

A Celebration of Life service will be held July 20 from 2-9 pm
