Andrew Hilliard Hutchinson Sr.

Andrew Hilliard Hutchinson, affectionately known as “Hutch,” of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on January 27, 2026, at the age of 69.

Hutch was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and built a life marked by dedication, hard work, and integrity. After years as a skilled tradesman in the HVAC field, he went on to become a successful small business owner, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and community alike.

He was known for his humor, quick wit, and generosity. Hutch found joy in fishing, bowling, playing online poker, and sharing his musical talent by playing the piano for his church, Westway Baptist, reflecting his faith and love for community. His presence, laughter, and spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Hutch was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Eileen Hutchinson, and his sister, Katherine Hutchinson.

He is survived by his wife, Hung Mei; his two brothers Rick and Mike; son, Andrew; his two daughters, Kathy, and Cheryl; stepdaughter, Kari. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Hannah, Noah, Kiley, Drew, Mason, and Delilah.
