Angeline L. Swete “Angie” 98, of Houston, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Born January 11, 1926, in Utica, New York, daughter of Serafino and Pauline Feltino, Angie was valedictorian of her high school class. Following high school, Angie pursued a career in New York City. In 1956 Angie joined the Arabian American Oil Company (“ARAMCO”) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia where she worked for over 30 years.
In Dhahran, she met her husband, Stanley A. Swete, and raised their three children. Angie and Stan retired from ARAMCO in 1986, and relocated to Houston. Angie is predeceased by Stan, her husband of 47 years. She is survived by their children, Stan, Tom and Susan, grandchildren Erin, Adam and Nicholas, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Angie will be buried alongside her beloved husband Stan at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas, on February 3, 2024, following a private family service.
