Hi I am a cousin to Ronnie on his mother’s side (Lillian Bunjes). Ronnie was six months to the day older than I. I remember all the times we went to Grandma and Grandpa farm. We “the City kids” going to the farm was so much fun. Our uncle lived down the “lane” from our grandparents. They had a dairy farm and we would go “Help” milk the cow. we went with our older cousins to bring the cows in from the lot. Now here is where the fun came in. We had a game that was called “Test the cow patty”. For us city kids this was so fun because we thought we new the cow  patty that was going to be soft. WRONG. We would go back to our grandparents with cow poop all over our shoes. 
Another time we crossed a fence into another property and heard some people coming. Four of us cousins climbed a tree and the people walked  under us with out seeing that we were in the tree.  We were all shaking when we got out of the tree and ran to get under or over the fence. I think they saw us. LOL I have lots of fond memories and could go on and on. I will miss him and Tom and I owe him a Mexican dinner. 

Although Ronnie was actually their cousin, he was known to our children and grandson as Uncle Ronnie.  He loved to tease them and spend time with them.  He made me feel like family from the first time I met him.  Will really miss going out for Mexican food  and having a good margarita with him.

My favorite memories of Uncle Ronnie all revolve around New Braunfels.  He and Aunt Bett took ALL the cousins every summer.  Ronnie made sure we each had our favorite sodas and would get out of the river 85,000 times so we could go through the chute “one more time”.  Then we’d all pile in the back of the truck exhausted, happy and ready to go the next day.  He always made sure everyone was having a good time.  I miss him already.

To me, Uncle Ronnie was larger than life. He was always so happy and friendly and just funny.  Whenever I hear the songs “Endless Love” or “To all the girls I’ve loved before”.... I can’t help but think of Uncle Ronnie and laugh. I have so many good memories with him and he is going to be dearly dearly missed.
