Anita Macaione Brown

Anita graduated from the Incarnate Word Academy in 1965 and from the University of Houston in 1969. After graduation, she began her career with Exxon Corporation, retiring in 2009.

Anita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends were her life. She loved reading, cooking, British Broadcasting Company Masterpiece Series, travel, the arts and regular get togethers with her extended family and friends.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Robert O. Brown, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Brown Hesters, her husband Shane and their children Davis and Colton and her son, Steven Robert Brown and his wife Meagan. She is also survived by her love and best friend, Daniel Vrana and her brothers Anthony and Carlo Macaione.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024.

A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Vincent's de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX. A reception will immediately follow at the church.
