Anita is survived by; daughter Nubia Garcia; daughter Maritza Martinez; daughter Lilian Martinez; son Hector Martinez; and son Sergio Martinez. Anita is survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Anita was preceded in death by her mother Maria Hernandez.
Anita was a woman of faith, she loved to help anyone she came in touch with. She loved to cook and feed everyone. Everyone that came in contact with her was touched by her spirit. She was the grandmother of all, and was called Abuela. She loved fashion and her signature red lipstick. Above all, she had an unwavering love for her family and dedicated her life to them. She will be deeply missed by many especially her children and grandchildren.
A visitation for Anita will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy. Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, 5100 North Fwy. Houston, TX 77022. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
