Anna Belle Hicks born August 20, 1922 to Henry and Helen Hering of Needville, Texas, passed away on June 4, 2024. Her husband Joe A. Hicks, and her son Joe T. Hicks (Terry), preceded her in death. Anna Belle is survived by her granddaughter, Kimberly Waugh, grandson in law, Tommy Waugh and great grandson, Lucian Waugh.
Anna Belle loved books, birds, cats, and flowers. She was a member of the Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, Hibiscus Society, Amaryllis Society, and Begonia Society. She worked for Getty Oil/Texaco for over 25 years. She lived in Houston for the majority of her life, but spent her remaining five years in Santa Rosa, California close to her granddaughter. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final days.
