Anthony Edward Celania, Sr. was born on April 12, 1942 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Anthony and Dorothy Celania. He entered into eternal rest at the age of 70 on January 8, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Celania, sisters: Lousie Potter and Margaret Blumer, and brother-in-law Danny Crowe. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 53 years: Shirley; children: Mary Davila and husband Gregory, Matt Celania and wife Virginia, Alan Celania and wife Nancy, Neil Celania, and Thomas Celania; siblings: Robert Celania, Victor Celania, Mike Celania, Richard Celania, Madelyn Hall and Rosemary Crowe; & grandchildren: Roxanna, Gregory, Brianna, Celeste, Matthew, Collin, Amy, Alyssa, Ryan, Jacob, Josh and Jeremy. Visitation will be at Brookside Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Camarillo officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
