Born on April 28, 1934, Arthur pursued his passion for innovation and problem-solving by studying Aeronautical Engineering at New York University, laying the groundwork for a distinguished and far-reaching career. His professional life reflected both versatility and determination. He worked across the mechanical and steel industries and traveled extensively around the world, embracing new challenges and cultures with curiosity and confidence. His work in deep-sea oil exploration further demonstrated his courage, technical skill, and tireless dedication. Arthur approached every endeavor with integrity and an unwavering work ethic.
Above all else, Arthur was a family man. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 67 years, Rocio Patricia, whose partnership and love were the cornerstone of his life. Together they built a beautiful family, raising seven children — Arturo, Rocio, Federico, Peggy, Alex, Cindy, and Loraine — instilling in them the values of faith, perseverance, and unity.
His family grew to include twenty-one cherished grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Arthur often said that his grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy. He celebrated their accomplishments, encouraged their dreams, and treasured every moment spent with them. His love for his family was steadfast and unconditional.
Arthur found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He had a special affection for dogs, enjoyed cooking outdoors, and delighted in gathering loved ones together, filling the air with laughter, stories, and warmth. His humor was gentle but sharp, his presence comforting, and his smile unforgettable.
A man of deep faith, Arthur was generous with both his time and resources. He was a dedicated supporter of his local church and numerous Catholic organizations, living out his beliefs through quiet acts of service and charity. His faith guided his life and shaped the example he set for his family.
Arthur believed wholeheartedly that “Family is crucial for a man to be complete,” and he embodied that conviction every day of his life. His legacy is one of enduring love, steadfast commitment, and unwavering devotion. Though he will be deeply missed, the values he instilled and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
His life was a blessing. His memory, a treasure.
