On April 9, 2021, Aurea Lopez, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went to join Our Lord in Heaven. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored. She will be welcomed by her parents and siblings who went ahead of her to be with God. At a young age, she became a licensed cosmetologist and opened and ran her own successful business for many years. She served hundreds of women, men, and children. With her loving husband, Oscar, they formed a family having three daughters, Adriana, Gladys, and Claudia. Later, she became a caring and nurturing grandmother to Roy Jr., Arlyn, Daniel, Melissa, Luis, and Emily. In her spare time, she enjoyed solving word puzzles and proudly finished many puzzle books.
She is survived by her loving husband Oscar; daughters, Adriana (Roy), Gladys (Jose), and Claudia (Jerry); and grandchildren, Roy Jr., Arlyn, Daniel, Melissa, Luis, and Emily.
A memorial service for Aurea will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 5:00 PM, followed by a webcasting at 5:00 PM.
