Aurora (Rory) Lynnette Watson was born weighing only 2lbs 2oz at 1:52am on March 24, 2014 in Houston, Texas to Michael and Elicia Watson. She passed away in her mother’s arms at Children’s Memorial Hermann on July 6, 2015 due to complications from underdeveloped lungs. Although only here a short time, her fighting spirit was an inspiration and she will be missed by many.
She is survived by her loving parents; siblings Christian, Autumn and Sebastian; grandparents, Richard and Kathleen Mooney, Virgil Watson, David and Kelly Thompson; great grandparents, Wanda Miller, Barbara Thompson; aunts and uncles, Max and Jennifer Richardson, Darrell and Sarah Paul, Jason and Crystal Watson, Thomas and Angela Shoemaker, Jessica Thompson, Justin and Brandi West, Rob and Jennifer Sobel, Ryan Grant, and Kevin Grant; and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother Terry; grandmother Janice Lynnette Thompson, and great grandparents Walter Thompson, Delores Box and Harold Lee.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to March of Dimes or Ronald McDonald House.
A memorial will be held on Monday, July 20th at First United Methodist Church in Humble, Texas.
