Dr.Parti was born in Jalindher, India on July 10, 1941. He received his medical degree from the Government Medical College of Patalia. Before moving to the United States, he practiced medicine in Amristsar, India.
He was an internist in the Houston area for over thirty years. He was a physician with amazing diagnostic abilities, who was approachable, dependable, and devoted to not only his patients, but also to his friends and family.
He will be best remembered for his kindness, compassion, but mostly for his love of life. He enjoyed cricket matches, Houston Rockets basketball, and loved good food and good company. Dr. Parti was witty with a wonderful sense of humor, and he could always make you smile. He always had a way with children. They loved him and he loved them. He was generous, as he contributed to many charities and organizations. These attributes are not known to most of us, as he was the most humble, down-to-earth individual.
He leaves us with everlasting memories that will always be with us.
Dr. Parti is survived by his wife, Shakun, daughters, Ashna and Avina, son–in-law, Bryan, and grandchildren, Daya, Rohan, and Nina. He was affectionately known as their Gappu.
