Barbara McClure, of Dayton, Texas, passed into eternal rest on May 19, 2019. She was born in Bradley, Arkansas, August 28, 1937. Barbara was a pharmacy tech and cashier for HEB for 25 years. She was a huge George Strait fan and as he sang, "I Saw God today," is her final song.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Blue McClure. Left to cherish her memories are children: Deborah Silk and husband Allen, Marshall Craigo, Richea Corbin and husband Mike and Michael Roy and wife Susan; grandchildren: Audrey Roy, Stone Roy, Tamara Beightol, Matt Birmingham and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to Shelby Benoit,RN at Kindred Hospice, Dr. Don Callens, and Dr. Lauren Cobb.
The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation Wednesday,May 22, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Chimes located within Brookside Memorial Park. Burial will immediately follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
