Barbara was born August 14, 1935, in Clodine, Texas to John and Francis Pucek, immigrants from Czechoslovakia. She was a long-time resident of Rosenberg, TX and graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in 1953. Her favorite pastimes were gardening and dancing to polkas and western music.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, and son, Gary Dean Rudder. She leaves behind daughters Barbara Sembera of Cypress, TX, Suzanne Herrin and husband Herald of Spring, TX, and Roxanna Rudder. Grandchildren, Rachel Sembera, Eric Sembera, Kevin Caroon, Brian Caroon, Samuel Parker, and Mathew Parker.

A visitation will be held from 11:00-11:30 AM, a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, followed by a graveside service on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079. Immediately following the graveside service, a reception luncheon will be held in the Magnolia Room at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
