Barbarita Silvas Amores

Barbarita is survived by her children Rick Vega and his wife Elisa and Maricela "Starr" Vega, siblings Ernestina Munoz, Flavio Silvas and his wife Irene, Paula Scott, Santos Silvas, Rogelio Silvas and his wife Emma, Esperanza Ayerdis and her husband Roberto, Alfred Silvas, Rey Silvas, Olga Silvas, Rene Silvas, Jesus Silvas, Ruben Silvas, Sabas Silvas, Sara S. Hernandez, Irene Silvas, Fidel Silvas and Pieda Silvas and grandchildren Alex Vega, Eric Vega, Jesus Santiago, Chris Vega, Maritza Vega and Marc-Anthony Vega and her former spouse of 16 years, Bartolo Vega.

Barbarita was preceded in death by; son Ernesto Julian Vega; parents Flavio and Aurora Silvas.

A visitation for Barbarita will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Funeral service for Barbarita will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Brookside Funeral Home - Family Chapel with committal service to follow immediately at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Rick Vega, Eric Vega, Chris Vega, Marc-Anthony Vega, Santos Silvas and Alfredo Silvas.
