"Uncle Buddy" - you lived up to that title with everyone.   The world is truly a better place and your legacy lives on because you made it a better place to live in.   I will always be thankful that I know you and call you friend.   I truly enjoyed working with you at Blastco - you made it fun and light-hearted.

My favorite memory of you was coming to your Pharr, Texas project site early one morning and you were asleep in your truck with the window rolled down.     I picked a long blade of grass and started poking your face with it and enjoyed watching you slap yourself silly.

You are missed by some many.

Buddy was a big part of my life when growing up. He was like an older brother. I remember how cool he was. I remember him poking me in the arm every time I walked near him. I remember his Mustang motorcycle,  his red 64 Falcon, his black 67 Fairlane with a 428. He had to give it back because no one would insure him, to many tickets. So he got a red one with a 390. He was my mentor in life on the Northside. All the characters from the Northside knew Buddy Williams. I met many of them at the room his parents built for him out of their garage. As I got older he always had my back. Never had to call Mom or Dad when I got in to trouble, just called Buddy. I remember going over to Peggy and his house, at all times of night, and always being welcomed. I remember going in toTrey's and Joe's bedroom and rough housing with them. As things would have it we didn't see or talk much over the years. When we did he always had that big Buddy Williams grin and called me 1st cousin. He will be missed by many. He was my HERO. Prayers for comfort to Peggy and all family and friends.


November 20th,
Well Bud, I sure am sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye since our last conversation awhile back. I didn’t know of your passing til tonight when Peggy finally was able to locate me in Messenger. 
I have so many fond memories of our families growing up together on New Haven and the years at Bethel Baptist together. We all were family and I feel I have lost a sweet little brother in you! 
I know you are in Paradise with Willie Dee & Barney as well as Judy & David. May you all rejoice with Jesus and look for our joining you when He calls our name as he has yours. I will miss you, Bud, and shed tears of grief at your passing. May our Lord comfort Peggy and your family as they grieve your absence. 
 I always enjoyed our laughs together and the fact that no matter the amount of time had lapsed between conversations we could pick right back up again and enjoy our memories. You were loved and will be sorely missed!
