Betty Lou Lyons

Betty worked for many years in Cy-Fair School District as the lunch lady a job she loved, because she loved working with the children. For all who came in contact with Betty she will be dearly missed.

Betty is preceded by her parents Roy B. and Christene Wheat, husband Walter Lyons, daughter Gloria Jean.

Betty is survived by her children, Rodney Lyons and wife Theresa, Doris Lyons Jordan and husband Fred brother Buddy Wheat and wife Marilyn as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.

The family will receive visitors on November 1, 2018 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Brookside Funeral Home 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will take place at 2 pm on November 1, 2018 at Brookside Funeral Home, officiating the service will be Brother Larry LaFreniere. The burial will take place on November 2, 2018 at Bethel Cemetary in Scroogins, Texas 75480.
