Betty was born in Seminole, OK and attended Paul’s Valley High School, where she was crowned “Basketball Queen” before graduating in 1952. Shortly after graduation, Betty met the love of her life, George L. Paul, whom she married on the 7th of August 1954, and celebrated sixty-one years of wedded bliss before his passing in 2016. Betty often commented that sixty-one years was simply, “Not long enough”.
Betty devoted her life to family as the wife to George and known as “Aunt Betty” to countless others; she is survived by her nieces and nephews, and many beloved family and friends.
Betty never met a stranger and those that knew her will miss her charm, humor, colorful expressions, steadfast loyalty, and everlasting adoration for her beloved George.
