Betty Blair White, 62, passed away February 9, 2011. Betty was preceded in death by her father Leslie Henderson Blair. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Reed White; her mother Mildred Bogan Blair; daughter Jennifer McLeod and husband Tony Murillo; grandchildren Samantha McLeod, Chelsea, Jacob, and Alyssa Murillo; brothers David Blair and wife Darlene, and Ed Blair and wife Marolyn; nieces Leslie Reames and husband Randy, Nicole Williams, and Erin McKaskle; nephews Mark and John Blair, great nephews Justin Williams and Blair Reames; and sisters-in-law Sandra McKaskle and husband Red and Kathi White.
Betty was born in Houston and reared in the Houston Heights and Oak Forest. She graduated from Waltrip High School and The University of Houston. She worked in education and the financial industry and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 14. 2011, at 2:00 followed by the funeral service at 3:00 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 13001 Katy Freeway (at Eldridge).
