

She was born in Queen, Pennsylvania on December 5, 1934, to Anna D. Atkin and Harry E. Kincaid. Beverly lived in Tionesta, PA for her first eighteen years. After graduating from Tionesta High School, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. She served her country for a total of five years on active duty and in the reserves.
Beverly was a graduate of LaSalle University where she received a degree in Material Management. She worked in the United States and Foreign Countries in the material control field for 42 years. Upon her retirement, she settled in Houston, Texas where she helped raise her twin nephews, Richard and Harry Kincaid.
Beverly was very active in Veterans activities. She was a past president of Texas 2 Women Marines Chapter, served as Area Director for two terms for the Women Marine Association National, served as Membership Chairperson for the Houston National Cemetery Council for 13 years, was a member of the Marine Corps League Sgt. Marty Gonzalez Detachment, Cypress, TX and did many hours of work with the Veterans Hospital and other Veteran organizations.Bev was also a Charter member of the Women Marines Association TX 7 Chapter, Houston, TX. Bev annually supported the Toys for Tots program and Wreaths Across America. She was also an officer and director on the Homeowners Board of her sub-division for many years. She was very active with the community pool and tennis courts as a volunteer.
Beverly is survived by her nephews Rick Kincaid of Fort Worth, TX, Richard Kincaid of Houston, TX, James Kincaid of Riverside, CA, her niece Teri Kincaid of Homewood, IL, Cousin Tim Carll and his wife Jennifer of Tidioute, PA and their two sons Logan and Zach, four grand nieces and three grand nephews, and her cat Luna.
Special thanks to her devoted friend Karen Davis and her Caregiver Purity K who were with her when she passed.
Beverly was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, brothers Dick, Harry and Thomas, sister Judy, nephew David Jardin, and nephew Harry D. Kincaid.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Women Marines Association, Houston Humane Society, Tionesta Methodist Church or any charity of your choice.
A committal with military honors will be held at Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, United States. The service is scheduled for August 7, 2025, from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm.
