Beverly Brandt Musick, passed peacefully the morning of September 24, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beverly was born on Easter Morning, April 9, 1950, to her parents Duane Vernon Brandt and Vera Lucille Brandt. She was the third of four children and their precious only daughter. As a child Beverly loved ballet dancing as well as playing with her brothers in the dirt; she was always present watching and taking score at her brother’s baseball games that her dad coached. She graduated from Milby High School in 1968. On September 19, 1970, she married her childhood friend and sweetheart Forest Harvey Musick with whom she recently celebrated 49 years of marriage. Beverly was a solid example of a loving and dedicated wife, caring mother and “Memaw Choo Choo", hard worker, and great friend to many throughout her life. She worked in the oil and gas industry for 45 years. She was affectionately known as “Beverly Bunco” amongst her Bunco ladies and known for her Aggie War Hymn bell ringing at the beginning of each game…. “Ring the Bell!!” Beverly enjoyed cooking and baking with and for her family, hosting holiday gatherings, taking cruises with Forest, watching all sports, (especially Aggie football and Astros baseball,) spending time with her family and sitting on the back porch running their beautiful garden railroad, a hobby Beverly and Forest both loved. Beverly will be missed by many, but the memories will last forever in our hearts.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Forest Harvey Musick, daughter Keli Musick Schroeder and husband Jerry, son Forest Duane Musick, and grandchildren Dylan Patrick Schroeder and Paige Danielle Schroeder, brothers Duane V. Brandt, Jr. and wife Connie, James G. Brandt and wife Natalie, brother-in-law Keith Musick and wife Linda, sister-in-law Brenda Nieswiadomy and husband Kenneth, and many nieces and nephews and their children. She is preceded in death by her father Duane V. Brandt, mother Vera L. Brandt, brother Robert A. Brandt and niece Lauren E. Brandt.
