Beverly J. Zeller

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, August S. Zeller Jr., grandson Jerry Gunn, siblings – J.D. Smith, Richard Smith, Janis Hannon, and brother-in-law Harrison Hannon.

She is survived by her children – Elizabeth Gunn and husband Phillip Gunn, Jeffery Zeller and wife Brenda Zeller, Patrick Zeller and spouse Sabri Sansoy, Wendy Baimbridge and husband Larry Baimbridge, Diana Bishop, and grand children Megean Zeller, Aaron Calderon, Kody Gunn, Chris Griggers, April Trujillo and five great grandchildren.

Beverly spent most of her career at what is now called the Lone Star College System. She started in June of 1976 in the business office where she was responsible for the financial portion of registration. Many times she wrote personal checks to fill in the gap for students that were shy of their full amount. As the college system expanded she was there in the set up of business office at both the Tomball campus and the Kingwood campus. She retired in August of 2001. She spent many hours at her church – St Leo the Great Parish where, as a founding member, she served on numerous boards and planning committees including – choir, art and environment council, liturgy committee, lecture, and headed the rebuilding committee made necessary by a fire at the church.

Beverly is best described as kind, compassionate, strong, resilient, genuine and giving.

A visitation and rosary service for Beverly will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A mass service will occur Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 527 S. Houston Ave., Humble, Texas 77338.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Zeller, Patrick Zeller, Phil Gunn, Larry Baimbridge, Kody Gunn and Aaron Calderon.
