Billy Lyn McMinn

Billy Lyn McMinn, 67, born October 19, 1946 entered into eternal rest July 14, 2014. Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors and activities such as fishing, camping and football with his daughters, grandson and brothers. Family was important to him and he cherished every moment he had with them. Billy was also a devoted fan of the North Shore Mustangs. Billy is preceded in death by his parents: John Everett and Ada Agatha McMinn; sister-in-law, Betty McMinn; mother-in-law, Frances Palermo and grandmother, Josephine “Momo” Calagna. Left to cherish his precious memories: loving wife of 37 years, Beverly McMinn; daughters: Tracie Doyal and Kimberly Castillo; grandson, Hunter Doyal; siblings: John McMinn, Jean Hughes and husband Billy, Bob McMinn and wife Becky, Tom McMinn and wife Lynn; sisters & brothers-in-law: Mary Cortemelia and husband Robert, Anthony Palermo, Patricia Young and husband Jon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16th from 5-9pm with a Rosary at 7:30pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, July 17th at the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
