Bobby Reyes Jr.

It is with profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Bobby Reyes Jr., who departed this life at the age of 60. His presence touched many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Bobby was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He brought laughter and joy to everyone blessed to know him.

Born on September 21, 1964, to Josefina Reyes and Roberto Reyes. Bobby found his calling as a talented mechanic, and over the years, he expanded his skills and took pride in learning a variety of other trades. His other passion was heavy metal music - blasting his favorite tracks and playing the air drums with the kind of energy that could light up a room.

What truly defined Bobby was his ability to make people laugh. His contagious laughter and playful spirit created unforgettable memories, and he had a way of lifting others, even in the toughest times.

He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Reyes Tovar.

Bobby is survived by his loving children: Michael Reyes Canseco, Raquel Hernandez, and Annjeanett Reyna. He was a proud grandfather to several grandchildren, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his sisters: Debra Reyes, Elizabeth Reyes Tovar, and Roberta Reyes. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Roberto Reyes and Josefina Reyes. He is lovingly remembered by his stepmother, Mary DeAnda, who remained a caring presence in his life.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, with a Celebration of Life Service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to share memories and laughter in his honor.

Though Bobby’s presence is no longer here, his spirit lives on in the laughter he gave, the love he showed, and the family he leaves behind.

Rock on 38! May your soul find eternal peace, and may your rhythm echo through all of us.
