Bonnie Frances Hill

Bonnie was born in Franklin Texas, December 20, 1926, to William and Maggie Baxter. She was one of seven children, all born in Franklin, Texas, and graduated high school there on the honor roll. She was the wife of Melvin M. Hill and they shared 53 years of marriage together. Bonnie was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed visiting and talking to anyone; she never met a stranger. Known in her neighborhood of Deer Park, Texas, as “The Turtle Lady” because she kept many pet turtles in her backyard.

She is survived by two sons; Frankie (Pamela) and Paul; one sister, Anne Gaudin; grandchildren; Eric (Sharyn) and Megan (Dustin) and great-granddaughter; Rayleigh Estes.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
