

Brenda lived a life deeply rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ, which she demonstrated daily through love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was known for her gentle spirit, warm heart, and the genuine care she gave to everyone she encountered. Brenda had a special gift for making others feel welcome, valued, and loved, and her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.
Her walk with God was the foundation of her life. Brenda loved her church and her church family dearly, faithfully serving as a prayer warrior. Through her steadfast faith, heartfelt prayers, and dedication to the Word of God, she witnessed many lives touched and changed. Brenda herself experienced several miracles throughout her life, strengthening her testimony and inspiring those around her.
She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Jeremy Scott, whose memory she carried closely in her heart. She now joins her beloved “Pampaw,” Ben Rapsilver, her parents, Joyce and Harry Wiggins, and her sister, Beverly Austin.
Brenda is lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Wayne Meader; her son, Robert Wayne Meader, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Laura Meader; her sister, Karen Laws, and brother-in-law, Allen Laws; along with her three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of whom will forever cherish the love, guidance, and memories she gave them.
Funeral services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park / Dignity Memorial, 13747 Eastex Fwy., Houston, TX 77039, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and graveside service at 3:30 PM.
Throughout her life, Brenda found joy in the simple and meaningful moments—spending time with family, sharing heartfelt conversations, and creating a home filled with warmth and care. Her strength, compassion, faith, and quiet grace will be deeply missed.
Brenda’s memory and legacy of faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
