Bryce William Sheppard

Bryce William Sheppard, of Houston, Texas was born on November 28, 1991 and passed on May 17, 2022 at the age of 30 years. Bryce always had a smile on his face and exuded a level of happiness and exhilaration that we can all only hope to achieve. He was the epitome of a person that had a desire to live life to its fullest. Bryce walked into any room and lit it up. His effervescent personality was contagious and he was extremely polite, engaging, and heartwarming. He always had a positive outlook and a smile on his face. He made you feel comfortable and content. His stories were entertaining, animated, and eventually had your stomach hurting from laughter. Bryce absolutely loved health, fitness, and weightlifting. You could catch him in the gym every day, and sometimes twice a day. His love of health and fitness led Bryce to recently becoming an NPC judge. He also enjoyed motocross, wakeboarding, snowboarding, BMX, baseball, and football. He won the BMX Nationals at the age of 5 and his baseball team, The Katy Sting, won the World Series Super Series when Bryce was 13 years of age. A graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in 2010, Bryce went on to attend Blinn College and Austin CC. In 2016, Bryce received his Real Estate License from Champion School of Business. He began his first entrepreneurial business, Detail Dr Mobile Car wash in 2017. Currently, he was the Operational Manager for A-Pro Top Construction. Recently, he started his second entrepreneurial business, BYLT L.L.C.

Left to cherish Bryce’s memory is his father, Dr. William Sheppard, wife Erica; mother Kimberly Sheppard, & John Fish; sister, Briley Ann Sheppard; step-siblings, David, Madelyn, and Caroline Rapp; uncle, Robert Sheppard, wife Deborah, children Bobby and Sarah; aunt, Lorraine Tierney and child Christa Marie Johnson, husband Brian; uncle, Jay Walter; paternal grandparents, William Laurence Sheppard, Sr and Roberta Sheppard-Rhein and step grandparent Jerry Rhein, and maternal grandparents, Lonnie Garza and Ardell Walter. Bryce is also survived by many many friends but no one more special than Chris Marshall…his brother. Last and certainly not least, his pride and joy and the other half of his heart, his dog Koda.

A visitation for Bryce will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Citizens for Animal Protection.

There is no guarantees that you are going to show up tomorrow. There are a lot of people who were here yesterday but they are not here today. There are a lot of opportunities that were around yesterday that are not here today. There is no guarantee in life. But there is one guarantee, that if you don’t take action there will be no outcome at all. No positive outcome.. the only outcome will be that you didn’t achieve what you wanted. A lot of people think that failure is a step backward, no, no, no. Failure is a step forward, a step in the right direction. Everytime you fail, you learn something from it. You feel less anxiety when you are doing it again. That’s progress in every sense of the word. Live everyday as if it’s your last and don’t be afraid to fail, it only leads to success.
