Cameron James Castille, 19, of Richmond, Texas, passed away on July 13, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 26th, at Garden Oaks Funeral Home with Minister Thelma Boykin officiating. Arrangements are by Garden Oaks Funeral Home.
Cameron was born in Libertyville, Illinois, to Martin Castille III and Brittney Castille on December 31, 2005. He graduated from Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville. He helped work and manage two local restaurants, the Phat Ky and Fusion Kitchen. He counseled others in an online mental health counseling peer support group. Cameron was also a part of an online gaming community where he and his good friends networked, built relationships, counseled each other, and discussed games, movies, life chats, and Pokémon. He graduated from high school with honors and earned his Texas Food Safety Manager Certification. Cameron also had his YouTube channel, titled Just Cam, and TikTok titled PGM Camz where he shared content surrounding gaming, the music he created, and spread the good word of God.
Cameron is preceded in death by his Grandmother Cheryl Lynn Smith, his Great Grandmothers Ethel Lee Zaeske, Mable Schexnider, Thelma L. Milton, Mary Clementine Castille “Mommie,” his Great Grandfather's Willie Smith, Martin Castille Sr., Joseph Davis (Big Joe), and Lawrence Zaeske, and his little brother Koen Oliver Castille.
Cameron is survived by his brother Kevin Castille, sister Jasmine Castille, Father Martin Castille III, Mother Brittney Castille, Grandfathers Marty Smith and Martin Castille Jr., Grandmothers Judith Quimby and Mary Castille, Aunts Nadia Jones and Erika Thomas, and Uncles Chris Jones and Hubert Thomas Jr.
