Carla Del Vecchio Alcott, 73, of Richmond, TX, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born in Mount Vernon, NY on January 14, 1950 to Carl and Mary Del Vecchio. She was married to Dr. William B. Alcott for 21 years. Carla had a career in childcare for numerous families and had a passion for gardening and cooking. She also loved her grandchildren very much. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Del Vecchio, her mother Mary McNeal Whitby, and her daughter Heather Jacqueline Alcott.
She is survived by her step mother Jane Del Vecchio, her siblings Steven Del Vecchio and wife Carolyn, Joseph Del Vecchio, and Debbie Rogowski and husband Joe, her children Michael Alcott and wife Edie, Sean Alcott and wife Courtney, Brian Alcott and wife Kristen, her grandchildren Hannah, Haley, Katelyn, Luke, Ava, Alex, Emily and Julia.
