

Carlos S. Solis, 35, passed away on January 18, 2015 due to fatal injuries suffered in a minor automobile accident. Carlos graduated from Spring High School in 1999 and worked in Houston. He was a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia for a time before returning to Houston to care for his ailing mother. Carlos remained in Houston working for Progressive Pumps and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Always a kind and positive person, he managed to see the good in all people and in every situation. He loved to have fun and was a dedicated Washington Redskins fan often proudly wearing their signature jersey. Carlos was a loyal, honest, generous, gentle and good man. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Corpus Chacon, and leaves behind his wife, Nicole Solis, his children: Devin and Alyssa Solis and stepdaughter, Angelina Leiva. Carlos is survived by his brother, Eric Solis, Eric's wife Cassie and their kids: Haley and Logan, his brother, Scott Solis, Scott's wife Andrea and children: Shawn, Andrew and Justin; as well as his father, Manuel Chacon and grandparents: Pete and Lupe Corpus. Carlos is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 23rd from 5pm-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 24th in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
