Carmen Angelica Del Cid Vda De Rivera

Carmen Angelica Del Cid vda de Rivera passed away on August 29th, 2023 in Houston, Texas at the age of 88. She joins her love Miguel and her children who passed before her. She was surrounded by her family at her time of passing who were caring for her until the end. She will be laid to rest in her home country of El Salvador next to her husband and children as it was always her wish.

Carmen Angelica always wanted to show care and support to anyone who she interacted with. She made sure anyone who visited her was well fed and prayed for their blessing. Everyday she made sure her garden was taken care of and her neighbors saw how passionate and caring she was. She was always a devoted catholic and always spoke about being reunited with her husband in heaven.

She is survived by her sons Napoleon, Godofredo, Hector, and Miguel, and by her daughters Adela, Digna, and Orfilia. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. We would like to thank Houston Hospice and the Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital for providing support and care for our loved one and to the family. We would also love to thank her neighbor Blanca for always being her dear friend who always took care of her and visited her almost every day.

Carmen Angélica Del Cid vda de Rivera falleció el 29 de agosto de 2023 en Houston, Texas a la edad de 88 años. Se une a su amor Miguel y a sus hijos y nietos que fallecieron antes que ella. Estuvo rodeada de su familia en el momento de su fallecimiento quienes la cuidaron hasta el final. Será enterrada en su país nativo, El Salvador, junto a su esposo y hijos, como siempre fue su deseo.

Carmen Angélica siempre quiso mostrar cariño y apoyo a cualquiera que la conociera o visitara. Se aseguraba de que cualquiera que la visitara estuviera bien alimentado y oraba por sus bendiciones. Todos los días se aseguraba de que cuidaran su jardín y sus vecinos veían lo apasionada y cariñosa que era. Ella siempre fue una católica devota y siempre habló de reunirse con su esposo en el cielo.

Le sobreviven sus hijos Napoleón, Godofredo, Héctor y Miguel, y sus hijas Adela, Digna y Orfilia. También le sobreviven 18 nietos y 15 bisnietos. Nos gustaría agradecer a Houston Hospice y Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital por brindar apoyo y atención a nuestro ser querida y a su familia. También nos encantaría agradecer a su vecina Blanca por ser siempre su querida amiga que siempre la cuidó y la visitó casi todos los días.
