Carmen F. Sanchez, age 95 passed away on Monday August 27, 2018. Carmen was born January 19, 1923 in Santa Anna, Texas to Macario and Tomasa Flores. Carmen was a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary post 8930, Catholic Daughters, Denver Harbor Senior Citizens and AFL / CIO Union.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Pablo P. Sanchez and her siblings Jesse Flores, Francis Ramirez, Jose Gutierrez, Minnie Escalon and Santos Vasquez.
Carmen is survived by her daughter Rosalinda Lucio and son Pablo Sanchez; brothers Gilbert Vasquez and Luis Gutierrez; granddaughter Diamantina Barrera.
A visitation for Carmen will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m with a Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. at Crespo Funeral Home, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Church, 915 Zoe St., Houston, TX 77020. Committal to follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
Serving as pallbearers are Jesse Flores Jr., David Corpus, Paul Ramirez, Fernando Lucio, Fernando Lucio Jr. and Chris Del Castillo.
