Carol went to Smiley High School. She met Max Alva Holt at church in Houston. They were married on September 22, 1961, for over 62 years, until his passing in 2024. Carol was a devoted wife and stay at home mom to her three children. She was room mom, on the PTA, and the host of many friends of her and Max’s and her childrens’ many get togethers. She traveled all over the United States with Max’s job, giving them and their children a chance to travel and see the country.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Max; her parents, Winford & Marie Watson; two brothers, Melvin and John Cleveland.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Max Holt II & wife Susan, Greg Holt & wife Angela, Dana Andrus & husband John; grandchildren, Shelby Andrus, Adam Holt, Marissa Holt, John Andrus, Schon Holt, and Lindsay Holt; siblings, Louis Watson and Linda Starnes.
